Used Waze app on my phone for the first time today - you people need to try this instead of Google Maps etc - it's the bomb. Not sure why I've never heard of it in the US. If you try it let me know how it works there.
Our IT guy at the plant knows the phrase "cluster f%$#" from watching House of Cards on Netflix. We discussed the Gaffney Peach. I wonder if Brazilians think our politicians are more corrupt than theirs after watching that show... surprisingly, I have to say they would be wrong about that.
OOO just got the email with my CPF number - which means I can get my wireless installed!! Schweet!!
Alarmingly sloped ramp to get into my apartment's parking garage - the Civic did a nice scrape when all my luggage was in the back.
Gas station under my window. They're much nicer here than at home - they all have a good restaurant or at least bakery inside. People hang out at them.
My lunch in the plant canteen today. My interpretation of what it was: pot roast, cooked cabbage, carrot salad, eggplant salad, bean & pasta soup, and mixed fruit (fresh of course). It was pretty tasty. I still haven't hit the beans & rice/rice & beans - the Brazilians eat 'em every day.

What is the relation of House of Cards and the Giant Butt? I bet that ramp us a b*tch when it ices ;)
ReplyDeleteLove and miss you, eat the rice and beans
Sigh...is, not us. The iPhone and google's blogger are not very compatible
ReplyDeleteooh, I think that lunch looks pretty darn tasty!!
ReplyDeleteRock uses Waze. Drove me f*&%ing bonkers on our way to FL... I was the driver and he was constantly on there reading updates and wanting to put traffic updates in. I haven't used it, myself.
I think I'm experiencing sympathy-exhaustion for you! xoxo
iPad is not either... I keep typing long replies to posts and they never show up :(
